When Jim Trueblood started his brokerage, Trueblood Real Estate, he wanted a vibrant, modern office environment that captured the fun, tech-savvy culture of his new company while supporting the needs of today’s home buyer.

The Travel Agent, a firm that focuses on “customizing global experiences in travel,” wanted a space that reinforced its brand evolution and supported its unique approach to client relationships. Faced with a growing practice spread across multiple locations, Dawes Fretzin Dermatology Group decided to bring their clinical, research and surgery facilities together in a new, freestanding building. “We'd gone from eight to 100 employees in a matter of 20 years,” said Scott Fretzin, MD. “The practice had experienced four reconstruction projects in other buildings until we simply ran out of space.” Together with the architect and interior designer, OfficeWorks collaborated with Dawes Fretzin to create a modern, comfortable environment that doesn’t feel like a typical medical facility.
Telling a new story: IBJ’s office relocation creates up-to-date, functional environment
As “central Indiana’s business authority,” Indianapolis Business Journal had operated in the same location for more than 20 years. And during that time, the environment hadn’t changed much. With multiple walls and built-in desks, the segmented space lacked the functionality, flexibility, and collaborative areas the staff needed in their work environment. When IBJ Media decided to move to a different location, they called upon OfficeWorks to design the work areas and furnish the conference rooms.
