Fostering connections: Tech firm’s new headquarters accommodate growth and collaboration

With a goal of increasing its presence in Indianapolis and hiring 70 employees in 2019 alone, marketing technology consulting firm Lev had ambitious expansion plans, but little room to grow. Moving into a space in Regions Tower in downtown Indianapolis, Lev engaged OfficeWorks to furnish an expanded environment that advanced the employee experience.

New facility transforms environment for Dawes Fretzin Dermatology Group

Faced with a growing practice spread across multiple locations, Dawes Fretzin Dermatology Group decided to bring their clinical, research and surgery facilities together in a new, freestanding building. “We'd gone from eight to 100 employees in a matter of 20 years,” said Scott Fretzin, MD. “The practice had experienced four reconstruction projects in other buildings until we simply ran out of space.” Together with the architect and interior designer, OfficeWorks collaborated with Dawes Fretzin to create a modern, comfortable environment that doesn’t feel like a typical medical facility.

Embracing the evolution: Company takes thoughtful, systematic approach to open-office transition

After expanding its geographical footprint and tripling its growth projections, the corporate office of an energy company was running out of room. At the same time, the environment hadn’t kept pace with the company’s evolution, with most of its square footage devoted to dated cubicles, private offices, and large conference rooms. To optimize their space, the company hired an experienced facilities project manager who engaged OfficeWorks to bring their new concept into reality.

Breathing new life into the Lilly Hall of Life Sciences Lobby

With its prime location and frequent traffic by Purdue University students, faculty, and staff, the lobby at the Lilly Hall of Life Sciences held promise as a collaborative environment. However, with the lack of furniture in the space, students would either stand or sit on the floor in groups before and after classes, affecting traffic flow.
