Eames-Press Yourself
Eames-Press Yourself brought together Indianapolis A&D firms to reinterpret the Eames Molded Plastic Chair in celebration of its 75th anniversary.
Eames-Press Yourself
Eames-Press Yourself brought together Indianapolis A&D firms to reinterpret the iconic shell chair in honor of its 75th anniversary. Each team was randomly assigned a decade and challenged to transform the familiar form into a reflection of that era’s culture, aesthetic, and perspective.
Rooted in simplicity and human-centered design, the chair has long invited experimentation. This challenge embraced that spirit, asking designers to move beyond form and function and explore how history can shape contemporary expression. The result was an evening of inventive craftsmanship and layered storytelling that celebrated both the Eames legacy and the creative strength of the local design community.

A Night of Creativity, Collaboration & Community
