Through everyday actions, local partnerships, and collaboration with brands like MillerKnoll, we are committed to designing a better tomorrow.
Supporting Our Community
One of the ways our team gives back is through our ongoing clothing donation partnership with Thrifty Threads and The Julian Center. These organizations provide critical support and resources to individuals and families in need throughout our community.
Since launching this initiative last year, the OfficeWorks team has donated over 800 pounds of clothing, shoes, and accessories. In 2026 alone, we have already collected more than 261 pounds, with another pickup planned with Thrifty Threads and The Julian Center in the coming months.
These donations help extend the life of everyday items while supporting organizations dedicated to empowering people in our community.
Reducing Waste Through Creative Reuse
Sustainability often starts with simple, creative decisions. During our recent Eames Press Yourself event, we repurposed more than 20 shipping boxes from Eames Shell Armchairs and transformed them into display pedestals for the event.
Rather than discarding packaging materials, we gave them a second life—demonstrating how thoughtful design can reduce waste while still creating engaging and memorable experiences.

The company now operates its global manufacturing facilities using 100 percent renewable electricity and continues to expand initiatives that keep millions of pounds of furniture in use rather than entering the waste stream. This shared commitment to thoughtful design helps OfficeWorks bring sustainable solutions to the spaces we help create.
