Antenna Design
Sigi Moeslinger and Masamichi Udagawa founded Antenna Design in 1997. Since then, their studio has designed objects and environments that enable social interactions between people, and between people and technology. The trick, its founders say, is to nudge, suggest and support through design, rather than to prescribe.
Antenna's Approach
Antenna's people-centered design approach aims to make the experience of objects and environments more meaningful and exciting. Among Antenna’s best known projects are the design of New York City Subway cars and ticket vending machines, JetBlue check-in kiosks and displays for Bloomberg.
The Collaboration
When Knoll set out to create a new open plan office system, Antenna’s experience with the ever-expanding presence of technology and their expertise in user experience made them an attractive collaborative partner. Together, Knoll and Antenna conceived Antenna Workspaces, an innovative open plan system, which reflects Udagawa and Moeslinger’s interest in functional simplicity as well as their expertise in using design as a tool of social interaction.

Antenna® Power Beam
Antenna Power Beam provides everything people need to work efficiently, while addressing the ready-to-change mentality of today's workplace. Offering uninterrupted access to power and data, Power Beam enables agility, providing maximum performance in a minimal footprint. Continuous channels in the top and sides of the beam enable off-module freedom to position screens and task lights, or to support worksurfaces.
Interpole™
Interpole™, by Antenna Design, is a unique vertical planning approach applicable in open plan, private offices and activity spaces. Based on a floor-to-ceiling H-post, Interpole reimagines the connection between furniture and building, providing a structure for technology, space definition and storage.
